Privacy Policy

How Kopi Kaki Social Club handles your personal data, in plain English.

Kopi Kaki Social Club is a free online game operated from Singapore. We follow Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) and design the game in line with IMDA's Code of Practice for Online Safety and the Digital for Life movement. This policy explains what we (the operator) collect, why, how long we keep it and your rights.

What we collect

  • Account details: username, display name, and a securely hashed password (never the password itself).
  • What you create and do in the game: your avatar, motto, rooms, furniture, designs and chat messages.
  • Game records: Kaki Dollar transactions, job progress, game results and respects.
  • Reports you make about other players, and reports about you.
  • Technical data: your IP address and browser details in server logs, and a session cookie that keeps you logged in.

We do not ask for your real name, email address, phone number or address, and we do not sell personal data or use it for advertising. If you buy Gold or Diamonds, payment happens on a payment provider's own page: we never see or store your card details, and we keep only a record of the purchase (the pack, the amount and the provider's payment reference).

Why we use it

  • To run the game: log you in, show your avatar and rooms, and deliver chat to other players.
  • To keep players safe: filter chat, review reports, and act against abuse, cheating and spam.
  • To keep the service secure and working: prevent attacks, fix bugs and plan capacity.

How long we keep it

  • Chat messages: 30 days.
  • Server logs (including IP addresses): 14 days.
  • Inactive guest accounts: deleted after a period without play.
  • Your account: until you delete it.

Your rights

Under the PDPA you can ask to access and correct your personal data, and withdraw consent. In the game:

  • Download my data (Account menu) gives you a copy of everything linked to your account.
  • Delete account (Account menu) permanently removes your account and everything it owns.

What this policy does not cover

This policy covers data we, the operator, collect about you. It does not cover information you choose to share with other players in chat, voice calls, mottos or room names — that is between you and them, and we strongly recommend you never share personal information (your real name, address, school, phone number, passwords or financial details) with other players. See our Safety page for tips on staying safe online.

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your data, but no online service can guarantee complete security. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for unauthorised access caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Age

Kopi Kaki Social Club is for players aged 13 and up. If you believe a younger child is using the game, contact us and we will remove the account.

This website

This marketing website does not use cookies, analytics or trackers. The server that hosts it keeps standard access logs for security.

Changes

We will update this page if the way we handle data changes, and note significant changes in the game.
